Fall Festival
You're invited to Rose Farm for our Fall Festival on Saturday, September 30th from 4-8 PM, a celebration of the beautiful autumn season. The arrival of fall means leaves are turning to beautiful shades of yellow, orange + red. Apples are falling from the trees + finding their way into a warm cake. Knit sweaters are keeping us cozy + the sound of leaves can be heard crunching under our boots. The harvest moon glows brightly in the night sky. Come celebrate this absolutely magical season at the farm. Enjoy food, drinks, pumpkin painting + live music on the lawn overlooking the beautiful Rose Farm gardens. Each guest will enjoy a specially-prepared fall harvest charcuterie picnic box along with a welcome cocktail. Musician Brian Dougherty (think John Mayer vibes) will be sharing his vocal talents + performing live on the lawn beginning at 4:30 PM. Artist Christine Hilbert will lead a live pumpkin painting demonstration every hour. Take all of your Instagram-worthy photos with the beautiful fall farm backdrop. Is there anything better than a cozy + hearty meal during the holiday season? Join educator Sue Honkamp for a two and a half hour holiday pasta workshoppe! Guests will work in groups to learn how to make a batch of pasta dough using flour + farm-fresh eggs collected from the hens at the farm. The dough will be naturally colored red + green using beets + spinach to put a festive twist on the dish. Guests can choose to roll + cut the pasta by hand, or they may use Sue's pasta roller. Making ravioli will also be an option. Create both a red + white sauce to accompany the pasta. A simple salad will also be put together. At the conclusion of the workshoppe, enjoy the meal together with your new friends and plan to take home recipes to recreate the menu with family + friends.

Join us on Saturday, December 2nd for holiday magic as Santa flies in from the North Pole for a very special visit. Step inside the festive greenhouse to meet Santa + have two (2) professional photos taken by local photographer, Lauren Konrad. Make a special treat for the reindeer to take home + sprinkle on your lawn Christmas Eve. Enjoy a hot cocoa bar outside under The Garden Pavilion and listen to a story read by Santa inside The Shoppe. Take home a holiday-themed book signed by Santa, along with a Rose Farm sweet treat bag + custom coloring page created by artist, Christine Hilbert. Some Are Shaken; Some Are Stirred: An Introduction to A Proper Cocktail

Join us to learn about the basics of beverages, from toddies to TeaTotalers, from lemonades to libations and back. In this two-hour workshoppe, led by educator Eric Johnson, guests will be shown + encouraged to make one example each of the Family Trees of Drinks. The ingredients and tools to make each of these will be provided: The Old Fashioned, The Martini, The Daiquiri, The Sidecar, The Highball, and The Flip.
