Step into The Marvelous World of Butterflies & Bees —a buzzing, hands-on adventure led by the experts from Blank Park Zoo! In this interactive session, children will learn all about the incredible world of pollinators and why bees and butterflies are so important to our planet. We’ll explore what makes each of them unique, from their special characteristics to the important roles they play in nature. A few lucky guests will even get to dress up as a butterfly or bee to show off their adaptations and learn about the different jobs bees do in the hive. The fun continues with a pollinator-themed storytime and a variety of hands-on activity stations, including:

• Seed ball making with milkweed and nectar plant seeds

• Pollinator & Flower matching games

• Pollinator Pledge station, where kids choose one way they’ll help protect pollinators

• Sensory bins for tactile, exploratory play
