Join us for a delightfully sweet evening as we welcome Maggie Glisan—owner and creator of Oh Hey Magpie, known for her whimsical custom gifts and one-of-a-kind confections—to the farm for a playful, hands-on cookie decorating workshoppe. In this two-hour workshoppe, Maggie will guide you through the art of frosting spring-inspired cookies—think darling eggs, joyful bunnies, fluffy chicks, and blooms galore. You’ll learn pro techniques including piping, flooding, marbling, and a few magical finishing touches to make your creations truly shine. Guests will decorate and take home 10 beautifully crafted cookies, perfect for adding charm to your Easter dessert table (or for gifting to someone sweet). Enjoy a complimentary beverage as you create, unwind, and let spring’s whimsy guide your designs. This workshoppe is designed for all skill levels—from first-timers to seasoned bakers—and promises a bright, cheerful escape into creativity.

Maggie is the owner + creator of Oh Hey Magpie, a local purveyor of custom gifts and goodies. Maggie spent the bulk of her career at Better Homes & Gardens as a designer, art director, and food editor. Entertaining is her love language. She's been hostesting ever since reading her mom's issue of Martha Stewart Living in the early 90s—it was a good thing!—and wants to take the intimidation factor out of having people over. When she's not setting tables, whipping up cheese boards, or illustrating personalized party touches, you can find her at home in Beaverdale watching Ted Lasso with her husband Justin and rescue pup George Stanley.
