Kick off a summer of farmyard fun with our very first Farm School session: Smitten for Kittens on Friday, June 5th! Curious little learners will discover the fascinating world of cats, from their adorable paws to the important role they play on the farm. Along the way, we’ll share the charming story of the beloved Rose Farm cats + why they’re such an important part of daily life here. We’re thrilled to welcome our friends from the Animal Rescue League, who will introduce us to one of their very special feline friends, perfect for learning, observing, and maybe even a gentle hello. To round out the morning, the West Des Moines Library will join us for a cozy, cat-themed storytime. It’s the purr-fect way to start the season, sweet, educational, and full of furry charm.
