Parent + Child Pollinators

Capture the farm's tiniest helpers during this 2-hour outdoor workshoppe. Using bumblebees and butterflies as inspiration, artist Christine Hilbert will guide guests through the art of watercolor painting. Art encourages imaginative thinking, inventiveness + engages children’s senses. Guests will sit outside among the gardens while Hilbert shares various techniques for creating texture, pattern, and color. All skill levels are welcome. $95 per pair. All materials are provided.

Christine Hilbert

Christine Hilbert is a mixed media artist and jewelry designer based in Winterset, Iowa. She combines vintage treasures of all kinds to create artwork and jewelry that echoes the past. Christine earned her BFA from Iowa State University and also studied painting at the Savannah College of Art & Design. She is the Artist in Residence for The Well Women’s Ministry in Des Moines as well as for Ballet Des Moines Winter 2016 season. She works as a designer for her accessory line, Bean & the Sprout.
