Celebrate the richness of the harvest season as you discover the art of designing with flowers and fruit. In this hands-on, two-hour workshoppe, guests will create a garden-inspired arrangement in a beautiful vessel using a thoughtfully curated collection of Rose Farm flowers paired with seasonal fruits and textural autumn accents. You'll learn floral design techniques while exploring how unexpected elements like pears, apples, figs, and other harvest treasures can add color, texture, movement, and abundance to your arrangements. Along the way, our educator will share tips for creating balanced, naturally styled centerpieces that feel both timeless and fresh. Your finished arrangement will bring the warmth and beauty of the season into your home. All flowers, materials, and instruction are included, and a complimentary beverage will be served.

With a background in graphic design, Julie is able to bring our guest's special day to life through detailed sketches. Her sweet spirit puts everyone at ease. Julie plays a big role at the farm, designing florals, menus, and storyboards, as well as managing other important details for special celebrations. When she's not at the farm, Julie is busy keeping up with her three beautiful children + husband. They love wandering through national parks but will always love the city of Des Moines, too.
