Come slither over to the wild side on Friday, July 31st for a Farm School adventure all about snakes! These fascinating, often misunderstood creatures are full of surprises, and we’re here to uncover them together. The experts from the Warren County Conservation Board will share how snakes move (hint: it’s not as simple as it looks!), what they eat, and why they play such an important role in keeping our environment healthy and balanced. You’ll also meet some of the snakes that call Iowa home and discover how we can peacefully coexist. Our special snake guest will be stopping by for a visit (if you’re feeling brave!), and we’ll have a fun, hands-on craft to keep little learners busy. Plus, our friends from the West Des Moines Public Library will join us for a delightful snake-themed storytime you won’t want to miss. It’s sure to be a hiss-terically good time.
