Get ready for Pacapalooza, a fluffy, feel-good celebration of all things alpaca! Join us on Friday, June 19th for a delightful Farm School session where we’ll learn all about these gentle, curious animals, from their soft, luxurious coats to how their fiber is used in everyday life. We’re excited to welcome our friends from Rusty Star Alpaca Farm, who will be on-site with a real alpaca for you to meet, pet, and admire up close (yes, they’re just as soft as you imagine!). To make the day even more special, our friends from the West Des Moines Public Library will join us for a charming alpaca-themed storytime. It’s a warm, whimsical morning full of learning, laughter, and plenty of fluffy fun, perfect for animal lovers of all ages!
