Step inside Mrs. Claus’s Gingerbread Bakery, where the scent of gingerbread fills the air, the candy jars are overflowing + a little Christmas magic awaits! In this festive, hands-on holiday workshoppe, adults + children will work together to build and decorate their very own gingerbread house from start to finish. Our pastry chef, Mary, will begin by demonstrating the art of traditional gingerbread—showing guests how to roll, cut + bake the dough so you can recreate the experience at home for Christmases to come.
Then, it’s time to open the doors to the bakery! Each family will receive a pre-baked gingerbread house ready to assemble. Together, you’ll make icing to serve as your “glue,” build your house + visit our festive candy collection to choose all the sweet details that will make your creation one-of-a-kind. Along the way, both children + adults will make a handful of gingerbread cookies to enjoy during the workshoppe or add as extra-special decorations to their gingerbread house.
And because no visit to Mrs. Claus’s bakery would be complete without a little North Pole magic, Mrs. Claus herself will be joining us for photos! Thoughtful details, including charming bakery boxes, striped bakery twine + festive packaging, will make the afternoon feel as though you’ve stepped straight into a Christmas storybook.
At the end of the workshoppe, guests will leave with their beautifully decorated gingerbread house, handmade cookies + recipes for creating their own gingerbread traditions at home.
