The Art of Candle Making

Come explore all of the fragrances at Rose Farm + learn the art of candle-making with Ali Coppola from Currently Co. During this two-hour workshoppe, you will choose your own fragrances + make three (7 oz.) candles. Learn about the science + creativity that goes into producing every candle. While your candles harden, you'll tour the farm, paying special attention to all of the wonderful floral + herbal fragrances that come to life in the gardens at Rose Farm.

Ali Coppola

Ali is the owner + scent curator of Currently Co., a small-batch, luxury soy candle brand, hand-poured in Des Moines. She has experience in floral design for weddings + special events. Ali is a wife, a mom of 3, native Iowan, former school counselor and creator of pretty things. She loves everything related to decorating, DIY and styling. She loves fragrant eucalyptus, a clean house and a hot cup of coffee. Ali is wonderful at appealing to all of the senses by making a room look, feel, sound and smell comforting and inviting. In her free time, she can be found creating all sorts of things, boating at Lake Panorama, and traveling with her family.
